Marcus Adams’s Children’s Studio opened in London in 1920. This negative book covers the studio’s early years from 1920 to 1929. The first entry on the page shown is for sitting number 4423 which took place on 5 July 1928, when the Duchess of York took Princess Elizabeth to be photographed by Adams. It was specified that the photographs were to be delivered ‘Quickly’.
