A photograph from the catalogue of Queen Victoria's Private Negatives, Vol. I.

Full length portrait of Queen Victoria seated on her pony Fyvie. On the left is John Brown, holding the pony's bridle. On the right is John Grant, holding a walking stick in his left hand, and a garment over his right arm. The original photograph was taken in 1863 in the grounds of Balmoral, on a pathway in front of foliage and trees.
