The Coronation earrings

This magnificent suite of necklace and earrings was worn by The Queen for her coronation in 1953. Originally made for Queen Victoria, the necklace and earrings were also worn at the coronations (as Queen's Consort) of Queen Alexandra in 1902 (without the earrings), Queen Mary in 1911 and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. The 22.48 carat diamond pendant is known as the Lahore Diamond and was presented to Queen Victoria in 1851.
