This view within the Horseshoe Cloister is a humble working scene, with two stonemasons in the foreground. Sandby depicted the irregular appearance of buildings that had been built at different dates. The entire Cloister was redeveloped in the nineteenth century, though the Curfew Tower, with the weathervane, is still used as the Chapel's belfry.
