Antonio Visentini was regularly employed by Smith and the Pasquali press as a draughtsman. He made many drawings of buildings by Palladio to be circulated among connoisseurs. This particular sheet, showing the fa├žade of the church of the Redentore, was damaged by a candle flame at an early stage in its history.
