Set of sixty-two carved and gilded beechwood dining chairs, upholstered in red figured silk damask, the back rail carved with husks, between partly-turned uprights, with a pierced splat decorated with discs, on sabre legs. These chairs are reproductions of an original large set of side chairs made for George IV by the English firm Tatham & Bailey circa 1813 (RCIN236).
