Buckingham Palace is home to an amazing variety of treasures from the Royal Collection. Every room is filled with exquisite furniture, paintings and objects that each tell a unique story. Each summer, the Palace’s magnificent State Rooms welcome visitors from around the world.

The Picture Gallery showcases masterpieces by Vermeer, Rubens, Rembrandt and Van Dyck. These paintings reflect the changing tastes and interests of generations of monarchs.

On display in the State Dining Room is an extraordinary Apollo clock from 1810, purchased by George IV. In the Marble Hall, the remarkable sculpture of Mars and Venus by Canova stands as one of the prized treasures of the Royal Collection.

Queen Victoria’s Grand Piano takes pride of place in the White Drawing Room. Known for their love of music, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert often hosted renowned musicians at Buckingham Palace.
