A pencil drawing, after RCIN 2909980, showing the actress Kate Terry dressed as a character from William Shakespeare's Richard II. She is shown full-length, facing forward and has her arm around an unknown girl. Terry is shown dressed in a tunic and tights with the other figure shown wearing a full-length dress with headdress and veil. A smaller child is shown to the right, dressed as a court jester. Inscribed lower right: Alice Feb: 10 1858.
