The arrival of Queen Victoria at the Château d'Eu

During their seven-day stay at the château d’Eu, Victoria and Albert enjoyed exploring their surroundings and getting to know the French court. Louis-Philippe organised entertainments for his guests including picnics, concerts and drives in the countryside in charabancs, the type of carriage seen here.
