The official Diamond Jubilee portrait of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh was taken in the Centre Room at Buckingham Palace in December 2011. The Queen wears the Diamond Diadem, originally made for George IV in 1820, and Queen Victoria's Collet Diamond Necklace - worn by Queen Victoria for her own official Diamond Jubilee photograph. The Duke of Edinburgh wears the naval ceremonial day dress of an Admiral of the Fleet with Garter sash.
