Brian Stewart, Captain with the 1st Battalion, Tyneside Scottish (predecessor of 3rd Battalion (Black Watch), The Royal Regiment of Scotland, of which HRH The Prince of Wales is Royal Colonel). Stewart was the Anti-Tank Platoon Commander with the Tyneside Scottish landing on 15 July. He took part in the defence of Rauray, where he commanded his platoon against a Panzer counter-attack.
