This is a studio replica of the central section of the full-length portrait by Drouais dated 1763-4 in the National Gallery, London, re-presented in oval format. The sitter is shown working at embroidery stretched on green wooden frame. She wears white dress with floral pattern trimmed with lace and striped bows, lace cap on head tied under the chin also with striped bow.
