Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna of Russia (1830-1911)

RCIN 408615

Grand Duchess Alexandra Iosifovna, a princess of Saxe Alternburg, married Grand Duke Constantine, son of Nicholas I. Their children included the future Queen Olga of Greece, whose grandchildren included HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Therefore, this portrait records a direct link between the Romanov family and the British Royal Family today.
