The Crown

RCIN 454295

Carol Ann Duffy wrote The Crown for the 60th anniversary of the Coronation, and it was read at the Service of Thanksgiving. The poem celebrates the historic significance of the crown worn by The Queen. Stephen Raw has also created a column which is encircled by words from the poem. The red and purple colours used are those associated with pageantry. Presented by Stephen Raw, 2014
