Prince Henry (1900–74) was the third son of King George V and Queen Mary. In 1935 he married Lady Alice Montagu-Douglas-Scott (1901–2004); they had two sons, Prince William (1941–72) and Prince Richard (born 1944), the current Duke of Gloucester. Prince Henry, in army uniform, is pictured here with his elder son, Prince William.
