Princess Elizabeth’s first sitting

The Duke and Duchess of York visited Adams’s studio with their daughter Princess Elizabeth for her first sitting with the photographer in early December 1926. Princess Elizabeth was just over seven months old at the time. This was to be the first of many sittings with Adams, during which a number of successful portraits were made.
