Brilliant bodies

Students will create a diagram of the body as Leonardo observed it and a life-size diagram of where we now know the organs to be. They will compare his understanding with our reality and ask how, 500 years ago, he was able to be so accurate.

Thinking boats: Design and pitch

In this activity, students have the opportunity to test and develop some of Leonardo's designs. Taking on the role of Leonardo and following scientific testing, students will pitch their unique boat design to a patron, in the hope of securing an income.
