RCIN 2930611

Edvard Grieg, the Norwegian composer, and his wife, Nina, who was a singer, performed for Queen Victoria at Windsor Castle on 6 December 1897. On 28 May 1906, during what may have been his last visit to England, Grieg arrived with his wife at Buckingham Palace, where they played and sang to the King and Queen, who were admirers of Grieg's music.
