    Archduchess Marguerite Clementine Marie was the third daughter of Archduke Joseph of Austria and his wife, Archduchess Clotilde (formerly a Princess of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha), whose father, Prince Augustus, was a first cousin of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
