A watercolour showing a view of a Highland landscape, probably near the Glas-allt-Shiel. A bridge is shown in the foreground, with a row of fir trees shown behind. A loch, probably Loch Muick, and Highland hills are shown in the background. Inscribed on RCIN 981651.o verso: Jun 14 81 - Whiel staying at Balmoral Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots. On 14 June 1881, the Queen visited the Glas-allt-Shiel with members of her family.
