A watercolour showing a view of a christening, probably the christening of Princess Victoria's first child Prince Wilhelm of Prussia (later Kaiser Wilhelm II). The baby is shown in the centre, being passed to a clergyman, who is standing in front of a covered alter. Further figures are shown gathered around the infant.
