A watercolour showing a view of South Stack, Wales from the sea. A lighthouse is shown on top of a cliff to the right. a small boat is shown sailing on the sea in the distance to the left. Inscribed below pasted down sheet: South Stack. Inscribed lower right: Sept: 4 1853. Queen Victoria and her family visited Ireland from 29 August to 3 September 1853. On their way back they anchored at Holyhead and sailed on the Fairy around the coast to South Stack.
