A watercolour showing Loch Muick. The loch is shown surrounded by steep Highland hills. Inscribed below pasted down sheet: Loch Muick. Inscribed lower right: VR del from a sketch. Osborne Oct:[?]: 1848. While staying at Balmoral, Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots. The Queen visited Loch Muick on 26 September 1848 with her husband, Prince Albert.
