A watercolour showing Antwerp, Belgium, from the River Schelde. Two boats are shown on the river in the foreground with the city shown on the river banks behind. Inscribed below pasted down sheet: Antwerp from the Scheld [sic] Aug: 11. 1852. Inscribed lower right: VR del from a sketch [RCIN 980029.v] done on board the V.& A. Aug: 11. 1852. On 10 August 1852, Queen Victoria set sail from Osborne to Belgium on the Royal Yacht, Victoria & Albert. They arrived at Antwerp on 11 August 1852, after sailing up the River Schelde.
