A watercolour showing a view of hills, probably in Germany. A forest-covered hill is shown in the foreground, sloping steeply down from the right. A small hill is shown to the left and trees are shown behind. Mountains are shown in the background. An illegible inscription in German Schrift is shown to the lower left. Inscribed to right of mounted sheet: From my window. Queen Victoria stayed in the Villa Hohenlohe, Baden-Baden, from 29 March to 10 April 1876, before getting the train to Coburg where she stayed at the Palais Edinburg until 20 April 1876.
