A watercolour showing a view of St. Moritz Church, Coburg. The church spire is shown in the centre, with the rest of the church building and parts of the town shown loosely below in pencil. Inscribed below: Moritz Kirche Ap. 1876 F[ro]m my window Alfreds H[ou]se. Queen Victoria stayed in the Villa Hohenlohe, Baden-Baden, from 29 March to 10 April 1876, before getting the train to Coburg where she stayed at the Palais Edinburg until 20 April 1876. During her stay in Coburg, Queen Victoria visited her son Prince Alfred who had a house there.
