A watercolour showing a view of a Highland landscape from Creag Phiobaidh. A hill is shown in the foreground, to the left, covered in forest. Further hills are shown behind. Inscribed lower left: Nov: 2 [a mistake, she means 3] f[ro]m Craig Phippie [sic]. While staying at Balmoral Queen Victoria made many expeditions to local beauty spots. The Queen visited Creag Phippie on 3 November 1870 with her daughter Princess Beatrice.
