A watercolour showing two studies of Queen Victoria's third daughter Princess Helena. In the study to the left, she is shown from behind, holding a doll in one arm and with the other hand raised. In the study to the right she is shown playing at a low table. She is dressed in a nineteenth-century style purple dress with red stripes.
