  • Grey walls, wooden wainscot and fireplace on the corner to right, with mirror and painting above. Large and smaller pictures on left wall, above large Japanese chest and 2 stools. Writing bureau against far wall, small pictures above.
The print after Cattermole's watercolour was published on 2 February 1819.

The paintings in this room can mostly be identified: on the left wall Jacopo Bassano, Adoration of the Shepherds (405772) hangs over five paintings, only two of which can be identified - Gibson, Queen Henrietta Maria (452651, upper left) and Remigius, Countess of Sunderland (402840, upper right). The two overdoors are both Monnoyer Flower pieces (402807 on the left and 402811 on the right); the overmantle is a Bogdani Bird scene (402812), On the wall opposite us are three drops: to the left Veronese’s Judith (402615), hangs over Balducci, Penance of Charles Martel (402746), with Wolfvoet, Tamyris’s Banquet (402606) at the bottom; in the centre Sassoferato’s Magdalen (402614), hangs over a Judgement of Paris (402995), which is over Poelenburgh’s Nymphs and Satyrs (405629), with Streenwyck’s Liberation of St Peter at the bottom (405467); the right drop sees Veronese’s David and Goliath (402613), hanging over a landscape by Adriaen van de Velde (402833), over a Wouwermans haymaking scene (405624). On the right wall Maratta’s oval Visitation (403971) hangs over a small Wouter’s landscape (404735), with, at the bottom, Van Bassen, King and Queen of Bohemia Dining (402967).
