The Danish Princess, Alexandra, arrived in England three days before her wedding to Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, on 10 March 1863. The British people gave her an enthusiastic welcome as she processed through London to Windsor where the wedding was to take place. The royal carriage is just visible amongst the crowds passing in front of the Mansion House, the home of the Lord Mayor of London. Signed.
