A watercolour showing a view from the sea of the quay at Dartmouth, with a salvo being fired and cheering crowds. From 28 August to 1 September 1843 the Queen and Prince Albert cruised along the south coast from Cowes to Plymouth in the new Royal Yacht. The artist was Maid of Honour to Queen Victoria from 1841-45. Dated verso in a later hand.
