A watercolour of the entrance arch of the stables, with a hole cut at the centre through which 918071.d can be viewed. The whole comprises an indication of Repton's plans for the landscaping of the grounds of the Pavilion, which would create a view across the projected bason towards a entrance to the town. A pencil outline of the same image is on the verso of the sheet.
This drawing is part of Repton's Red Book for Brighton Pavilion (970493) submitted to George, Prince of Wales (later George IV) in 1806.Provenance
