A pen and ink and watercolour drawing of the back of the Poor Knights' Houses, Lower Ward, now known as the Military Knights' Houses, from the main road to Datchet up Castle Hill. Inscribed below in pencil in the artist's hand, 'Mr M[unders?] picture 4.7.½ by 2.5.¼. Pasted on a board with a smudged grey ink line border and inscribed in pencil, possibly in the artist's hand, 'Windsor Castle back of the poor Knights Houses', and numbered at the top 202. On the verso, offsetting from a pen and ink drawing of a tree, and inscribed in pen 'Part of Windsor Castle P.S.'. With the remains of blue paper pasted at the lower corners. In a twentieth century overthrow mount. A watercolour drawing of the same subject showing Henry III Tower is RCIN 914541, and a pencil drawing RCIN 914540.
