-
A watercolour drawing of a view in Windsor Great Park, with open ground and trees beyond. On a mount with a single ink line, and with a later overthrow wash line mount. Inscribed on the ink line mount, 'Windsor Park. Paul Sandby'. On the verso of the mount, initialled 'P.S.' in the artist's hand, and in a later hand 'Drawn by Paul Sandby'.
Sandby made many hundreds of drawings of Windsor Castle and the surrounding parkland. This faint atmospheric study is probably from the later period of his career.
