-
A watercolour of the Guildhall in Windsor; with market stalls under the colonnade and in the street outside. The attribution is based on a set of coloured etchings inscribed 'Drawn, Etched and Published by S. Evans, Eton'. Evans, who was drawing master at Eton from c.1798 until 1818, appears to have made a number of versions of these views for sale. Other drawings by Evans in the Royal Collection are RCINs 917530-2, 917420 and 917379.
