A watercolour of the north-west end of Windsor Castle and the town, seen from the river. Cargo boats are moored on the far bank. Previously attributed to William Havell, but more likely to be by Samuel Evans or one of his students. Evans was drawing master at Eton College from c.1798 until 1818. Other drawings by Evans in the Royal Collection are RCINs 917529-2 and 917420.
