A pen and ink drawing of groups of figures on the North Terrace, Windsor Castle. At the centre, three ladies and two men in groups promenading and conversing. In the background, two men at a low parapet, one looking through a telescope. Inscribed below on the modern mount, probably copied from an earlier one, 'On Windsor Terrace'. Mounted with 914453 and formerly 914452. Sandby many made observational drawings of figures at Windsor which he used in his watercolours and bodycolours. The pair at the front appear in a view of the North Terrace, looking west at Harewood House. The drawing is similar to RCINs 914448 and 914449.
