A drawing of a view of the courtyard of the castle of Helmond, seen through a brick archway; with various figures and animals. Facing the arch, the entrance facade features a flight of steps leading to a wing with a turret on the right. Signed and dated, bottom left corner: JDB [in monogram] ad viv: del. 1739. Accoriding to the V.R. Inventory, the verso is inscribed: Bineplaets des Kasteels t'Hellmondt, in Meijerie s'Hertogbs: 1738.

Lot L625 in the Abraham van Broyel sale of October 1759, where attributed to Jan de Beyer; bought by Pieter Yver (fl.31 with L626); probably in the Royal Collection by c.1810; transferred from Buckingham Palace in 1950 (V.R. Inventory no. 867)
