A drawing of three putti, two of them seen almost full length, one playing a pipe and the other a tambourine. This is a copy after the cartoon in the Ambrosiana, Milan, inv. 779.
The verso of this sheet bears an inscription: Del Sig. Cavag.e Cignani pensiero che a dipinto alla massa Lombarda nella Chiesa delli Carmelitani. And below: del Sig. Cavag.e Cignani.Provenance
Probably acquired by George III in 1762 as part of the collection of Cardinal Alessandro Albani; listed in George III's 'Inventory A,' c.1800, p.128 ('Moderna Schuola Romana / Tom. II.'): '30. Of Bacicia Galli, Lazzaro Baldi, Baglione &ca:'
