A print based upon the allegorical figure of Charity, painted by Raphael's workshop to the right of Pope Urban I in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican. Dated and signed with the monograms DBIC (see Nagler, II, no.988) and VDC (see Nagler, V, no.1083). Lettered with attribution of the design to Raphael. A closely corresponding drawing is now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA1846.294). See RCIN 852979.
