A photograph of a drawing by Raphael (c.1519-20) now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA1846.210). The drawing is preparatory for figures of soldiers climbing into a boat painted in the extreme right foreground of the fresco of The Battle of Constantine at the Milvian Bridge, executed by Raphael's workshop in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican after designs by the master.
