A print thought to be after a now lost design by Giulio Romano. Only state. The composition has been formerly associated with Raphael. Another impression of this print can be found at RCIN 851317.
The print shows the full-length Virgin washing the feet of the Christ Child whom she holds on her knees, helped by an angel who holds an amphora at right and by two women preparing cloths at left; in an interior.Provenance
