A photograph of a drawing attributed to Raphael (c.1518) now in the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.534E). The drawing is a study for the figure of the Christ Child in the so-called Holy Family of Francis I, a painting attributed to Raphael and his workshop (1518) now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.604). A photograph of the Holy Family of Francis I can be found at RCIN 851028.
Showing a full-length naked child, turned to the right, with outstretched arms, being held under his shoulders by a figure on the right not fully worked out.Provenance
