A engraving reproducing (in reverse) the group of the Virgin and Child with St Anne and the Infant Baptist from the so-called La Perla, a painting generally attributed to Giulio Romano (c.1518-19) now in the Museo del Prado, Madrid (inv. no.301), with considerable alterations and additions. Showing the full-length seated Virgin supporting the Christ Child with her left arm and putting her right hand on the back of St Anne who is crouched beside her on the left, with the young John the Baptist standing on the right presenting the Child with a bird, and St Joseph partially hidden in the left middle ground; before a Ionic temple with a niche containing a statue of Moses; in a landscape.Provenance
