An etching after a painting catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being then in the possession of Baron Minutoli, Liegnitz. Lettered with production details.
The painting freely adapts the composition of Raphael’s so-called Garvagh Madonna (also known as Aldobrandini Madonna) now in the National Gallery, London (inv. no.NG 744).
