A print reproducing (in reverse) the so-called Mackintosh Madonna, a painting by Raphael (c.1509-11) now in the National Gallery, London (inv. no.NG 2069). The legend below the image indicates that the painting was still in the collection of the Duc d’Orléans when this print was made. In Ruland's Raphael Collection catalogue (1876), Ruland listed the painting as being in the possession of Mr R.J. Mackintosh.
