A photograph of an arch topped painting dating 1509 formerly ascribed to Raphael. Ruland (1876) attributed the painting to Perugino and described it as being then in the church of Sant'Agostino, Perugia. The painting recalls the central panel of Raphael's so-called Colonna Altarpiece now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (see RCIN 850667 for a photograph of the painting).
Showing the enthroned Virgin and Child, between Saints Paul and Catherine on the left, and Saints Peter and Agatha on the right; above are two angels.Provenance
