A hand-coloured print of a scene in which the removal of property is taking place outside a house. Two women help to stack chairs, bird cages, warming pans and all manner of domestic utensils onto a waggon during a house move. A burly man helps to place the items onto an already over-flowing cart. On the right, a third woman standing in a doorway observes the proceedings. In the foreground, two children play with a dog amongst more domestic utensils that lie scattered on the ground. Inscribed in the plate: 318 / Pubd Jany 30th 1814 / Rowlandson 1814
