A hand-coloured print of a family of chimney sweeps sitting around a large open fire over which a pot simmers. The woman is bare-breasted (pencilled in) and holds a jug as a man also smoking a pipe stares at her. Four blackened children or 'climbing boys' lie and sit on the floor eating from bowls, the contents of which interests a white cat. Inscribed in the plate: 1803 Rowlandson
