Pair of flintlock pistols, round polished steel barrel with chased central ridge, foliate motifs and engraved with maker's name. Muzzle with silver gilt mount with scrolling foliage, silver gilt stock ensuite with bulbous cone-shaped pommel. Pierced trigger and trigger guard; engraved steel lockplate.
Provenance
Presented to George IV when Prince Regent by Count Nugent, April 1812, and displayed in the Armoury at Carlton House.
